At an emergency UN summit in Vienna, Lebanese refugee Nadia works as a conference interpreter for the Syrian delegation. During a closed-door session, she translates a statement that the delegating minister deliberately mistranslates for the English transcript — a mistranslation that, if published, will trigger sanctions that could collapse a fragile ceasefire. Nadia has 18 hours to decide whether to risk everything to correct the record.
